Episode 124 - parkrun and not single
August "Freedom Run month" — the hosts' challenge to do one freedom run a week during August, referred back to from a previous episode. Listeners are asked to record audio while out on their freedom runs; Melissa Ellis's dispatch from Toolern Creek is the first submission played. Mel admits she recorded her own freedom run audio for the With Me Now podcast instead.
Episode 28 - The Run Beyond Project
Trailed rather than aired: the hosts note Hey TJ completed the reverse parkrun challenge at Jells and say the listener-submitted reverse freedom run audio will be shared next week, giving people an extra week to catch up and take part.
Episode 27 - Dani McLaren
The hosts road-test last week's listener challenge (run a parkrun course as a freedom run, in reverse) and play both their own field recordings: Mel's pre-dawn head-torch group run backwards at Nambour with Ian, Alison, Dave, Tanya, Mark, Olga and others, and Scott's two attempts — a rain-soaked Coburg run with his mate Tim (which fails because Coburg is an out-and-back) and a successful Westerfolds run with ten "Westerfoldians". They then throw the challenge to listeners, asking for phone audio to parkrunadventurers@gmail.com, and plug the 133-member Strava club.
