Episode 262 - All the good things
Tony O'Connell, self-described party planner, gives the provisional programme for PALM 2022, on the weekend of 5-6 March in Hobart: Friday freedom run at Queen's Domain, Saturday parkrun at Bellerive in the shadow of Blundstone Arena, Saturday afternoon freedom run at Montrose Foreshore near MONA, Saturday night dress-up dinner (venue and theme TBA), Sunday Clarence Lions fun run. Melissa Ellis plans to bring her car over on the Spirit and tour the east coast of Tasmania beforehand.
Episode 191 - Dynamic Duo
Reminder that the palm20 parkrun adventurers Listener Meetup countdown is on, with the agenda coming together: Mount Barker parkrun on the Saturday morning plus freedom runs at West Beach (Friday evening), Lochiel (Saturday afternoon) and Cleland (Sunday morning), and the traditional fancy-dress dinner on the Saturday night. Listeners are directed to the Facebook page, spelled out as "parkrun adventurers Podcast Listener Meetup".
Episode 178 - Roving Reports
The date for palm20 is announced: the 6-7-8 March 2020 long weekend in Adelaide / South Australia, with parkrun day on Saturday 7 March and Friday-night festivities, and Monday 9 March optional (a public holiday only in SA, Victoria and the ACT). Organiser Gary Murphy's availability was the deciding factor; listeners are urged to book accommodation early because other events clash in Adelaide that weekend. The host notes former co-host Scotty Trickett will be there for a mini reunion, and jokes that availability that weekend is a prerequisite for whoever becomes the show's next co-host.
