Shirley Treasure
Quinns Rocks parkrun being the only "Q" in Australia and the alphabet-touring traffic that brings; the beachside course along Quinns foreshore and Mindarie; her ultra-running background, including finishing third female with 146km at WA's inaugural 24-hour track ultra.
Tony Jennings
How cardiac surgery and a family history of very different heart conditions led him to parkrun as therapy; why he backs the #Defibs4parkrun campaign; and renaming his Mount Cooroora endurance event in memory of his grandson Hendrix, who died of SIDS.
Tim Oberg
The #Defibs4parkrun crowdfunding campaign — parkrun Australia's first — to give every Australian event access to a defibrillator by the end of 2017: $100,000 raised of a ~$400,000 goal, partners (Australian Sports Foundation, Physio-Control, Guy Leech, first aid accident and emergency), tax deductibility, why the UK hasn't run a single campaign like it, and why parkrun stays free.

Launches and anniversaries ("Where is the cake?")
Hosts run through the week's new event and anniversaries: Newborough parkrun launching in inland Victoria near Moe; Panania (NSW) turning one; Studley turning one (Scott: "Not four-year-old Studley, as the newsletter has been telling us. It's one-year-old Studley"); Tuggeranong (ACT) turning four. Framed with the usual cake/donut joke, plus a riff about an unnamed brand of ice block "that shall not be mentioned because they refuse to sponsor us".
Puns and dad jokes segment
Recurring end-of-show bit where Scott tells a dad joke and Mel groans. This week's is a joke about paper, following last week's Velcro joke ("I don't think many people got the joke last week... I had to explain it to a few people"). Mel: "I don't know how, but you manage to reach new heights each week with the atrocity of the level of these jokes", and invites listeners to send in dad jokes that can outdo Scotty's. Scott teases a construction joke for next week.
Book recommendations
Scott asks Mel for a book recommendation now that he's banished his phone from the bedroom in favour of a book; she recommends Christopher McDougall's Born to Run. They then announce it as a new ongoing feature: [00:48:03] "send us your reviews and we'll start reviewing one book a week in the outro" — running-related or otherwise, audiobooks included.
