Jenna Brook

Birdsville local; ultra-endurance runner behind "Running for Bums"

Her 4,500km run from the southernmost tip of Tasmania to Cape York starting 18 February, over four months and averaging 40-45km a day, raising awareness of bowel cancer — screening kits, symptoms, her own family history and 14 removed polyps, planning an inland route with a motorhome, training in 40-degree Birdsville heat, and hoping to fit parkruns in along the way despite never having officially done one.
