• Episode 125 - August Madness

  Billed on air as "Reverse Freedom August Madness" — a variant format in which the two hosts are the contestants instead of listeners. Guest host Simon Mackley wrote and asked 10 parkrun trivia questions plus a tiebreaker; Scott and Mel buzzed in by shouting their home parkrun ("Kawana" vs "Westerfolds"). Mel won 11-8 after a 4-point haul on the Southern Hemisphere parkrun countries question, then took the winner-takes-all tiebreaker ("What is the exact date of the first Australian parkrun?" — 2 April 2011). Her prize is to face former champion Brendan Peel in the next Madness. Simon explains at [00:08:35] that he originally wrote the questions for Brendan Peel and pitched them down from "level nine" to "level six" once he knew it was the hosts.

• Episode 119 - Highlight Reel

  Archive replay of the first edition of the hosts' parkrun quiz, originally episode 78: Melissa Ellis (Victoria, Berwick Springs) versus Steve (Queensland, Cairns), four parkrun questions, buzzers being each contestant's home parkrun, recorded in front of a live studio audience. The hosts agree in the surrounding discussion to bring it back next month.

  The show's recurring parkrun-trivia quiz, played live in front of the meet-up audience with three contestants: defending champion Simon Mackley (Mosman parkrun, NSW), Brendan Peel (Victoria) and Sonja Pohlman (Queensland). Twenty questions plus bonus rounds, an audience-voted final point, and a live scoreboard kept by Mel. Brendan Peel wins by a point (final: Brendan 8, Simon 6-7, Sonia 5-6); Scott calls it "March Madness, parkrun Adventurers Madness" at [00:29:31].

• Episode 78

  Debut of a state-versus-state parkrun quiz, long teased as March/May/April Madness. Four parkrun questions, contestants buzzing in by saying their home parkrun. Melissa Ellis (Berwick Springs, Victoria) beat Steve Betesta (Cairns, Queensland) 3-1. Questions: three Northern Hemisphere parkrun countries; three parkruns starting with C; a 'who am I' (answer Brendan Peel); and a 'what event am I' (answer Bunbury parkrun, WA). No physical prize - the winner returns as carryover champion, with the hosts debating October vs November Madness for round two. Played in front of a (joke) live studio audience.
