• Episode 128 - Streaky September

  The closing sing-along, described by Scott as "a new tradition" that "returned last week". This week it is abandoned almost immediately over music licensing, Scott nominates Tiffany's "I Think We're Alone Now" as the song it always needed, then cuts it short: "don't blame us, blame the corporate greed of big music", with a promise that one day sponsors or a lawyer will fix it. The episode instead peters out over the show's own theme music.

• Episode 125 - August Madness

  Scott's recorded 80s-movie-theme outro. Teased earlier ("Speaking of, sing-along. Quick tease. Got another one. It's a beauty.") and framed as an ongoing series, "we're going to get to the requests after we've got through my back catalogue". Mel gives a listeners' guessing clue, the line "Pleased to meet you, Moles"-, before the track plays out the episode. The "Moles" clue points to the 1984 film Electric Dreams, though the film is never named on air.

• Episode 122 - Kelly Hodges

  Scott's outro sing-along, in its second consecutive week, "I'm not going to let this go until the lawyers come after us... Bonnie Tyler's lawyers haven't contacted us just yet." This week's pick is Starship's "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now", which he stumbled on watching the 1987 film Mannequin late at night on Stan and then heard again in a car ad. Framed by Mel's story of her son Wesley hiding the TV remote controls (one found inside the sofa bed, one still missing) and her review of Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.
