There is talk of trails with stack club royalty and Nambour (opens in a new tab) parkrun Event Director Melissa Taylor, and Ricci McGreevey reports in from a roving visit to Colin Glen (opens in a new tab) parkrun in Belfast.

Scott Trickett and Melissa Erbacher. Scott is 'back in the stack club' after a heavy fall on rock steps near the 20km mark of a 23k Anglesea trail race in road shoes, bruising his sternum and ribs, with mate Barney coming back to finish with him; the Westerfoldians had won the Northwest Trail Series VIP tent and its massage. Mel went to Main Beach, the home of parkrun, for her brother Nicholas's 50th, carrying Wes in a carrier on Adam's bad advice about sandy bits, with niece Lani walking with her and nephew Rowan running his first sub-30; the hosts are level again on the most events list, and Main Beach gets the parkrun adventurers tick of approval.

Ricci McGreevey files a long self-contained roving report from Colin Glen parkrun in West Belfast, Northern Ireland, course description (woodland, Colin River, Gruffalo trail, brutal hills), then six interviews: Gerard Devine (50th parkrun), Paula Burns (106th), Aisling McAleese (her sister-in-law, 2nd parkrun), volunteer Tracey McCulloch, Run Director Shauna, milestone runners Nicola (100th) and Bobby (200th) from Carrickfergus/Seapark AC, and Joint ED Claire. Two launches this weekend: Nuriootpa in South Australia (renamed from Barossa Bush Gardens parkrun before it even launched, with an extended running gag about how to pronounce it) and Redcliffe in Queensland, which Mel predicts will be a massive launch given its proximity to Sandgate and Brisbane. Anniversaries at Pakenham (Victoria) and Palmerston (Northern Territory), "two Ps on the same weekend".

Week two round-up of the Streaky September challenge. Scott is still streaking, helped by his injury forcing easy 2-3km evening walks with Yvonne and Kasia; Mel is still streaking too but reports that Wes has broken his streak. They then run through the "Bingoe" card released on Facebook that week (streak with a friend, streak a parkrun, streak selfie, freedom run, jim jams, bonus: streak with a podcast), both have three of five. Includes Scott's dingo/chigoe ("a small tropical flea") explanation for the deliberate E in "Bingoe".

The hosts said they were both heading to the Barossa on a road trip that weekend and would try to sneak in some freedom runs on the way, noting that Scotty had only run Mount Gambier in South Australia and Mel had done Torrens, and that they hoped to catch up with PK, their number one news reporter, in the flesh. Mel said she looked forward to reporting on the adventures in next week's podcast; Scotty thanked her and said she had not made him laugh too much, and Mel closed by pointing out, for those who missed it because it had not actually been said, that this had been episode 81.
