Scott Trickett and Melissa Erbacher, episode 89. Scott used the Melbourne Cup public holiday to trial a new, still unofficial event in Melbourne's eastern suburbs with his Westerfoldian mates, a new letter for the alphabeteers, and has now diarised the rest of 2017 with three events to go to his 50th, though he won't say when; Mel is planning her own 50th and recounts being recognised as 'that Mel'. Coming up is the guest Scott rates the most famous parkrunner after PSH.
Madness starts at 51:35parkrun adventurers quiz
"November Madness" - the second edition of the show's quiz, played in front of a studio audience with home-parkrun names as buzzers. Carryover champ Melissa Ellis (Berwick Springs, VIC) v Simon Mackley (Mosman, NSW), six questions set alternately by Scott and Mel. Simon wins 4-0 (Q6 worth two points) and becomes the new carryover champion; the hosts say it won't return until 2018.

TOC's self-contained roving package from the Koonwarra parkrun launch in South Gippsland, Victoria - 255 people in a town of 385. He interviews Inverloch parkrunners Greg and Shirley Dell, teenage RD Addy, and (on the Monday after, sitting on kindergarten chairs) Event Director Ebony Knox, who explains the Danish concept of hygge she built her launch speech around and describes the rail-trail course.

Tony O'Connell is formally inducted into the Channel 5 News Crew after delivering on last week's promise - "Last week we said if Toc delivers, he's in. He's delivered. So he's in." Mel: "Welcome to the Channel 5 News Crew, Toc", with another sequined microphone sent down south.
