Danny Norman
A candid, wide-ranging return interview: his surprise trip to Crissy Field parkrun in San Francisco, gifted by listener Chris Schofield; a frank account of a year of depression and how parkrun and the podcast community carried him through; his parkrun map and the ~200 events still un-done within 80 miles of home; whether The parkrun Show might return, and the role of unofficial online forums in the parkrun community; Surbiton junior parkrun; and where he would parkrun anywhere in the world (answer: Mosman, Sydney).

In this episode
Madness (parkrun Adventurers quiz)
"November Madness" - the second edition of the show's quiz, played in front of a studio audience with home-parkrun names as buzzers. Carryover champ Melissa Ellis (Berwick Springs, VIC) v Simon Mackley (Mosman, NSW), six questions set alternately by Scott and Mel. Simon wins 4-0 (Q6 worth two points) and becomes the new carryover champion; the hosts say it won't return until 2018.
Roving Adventurers (roving reporter crossovers)
TOC's self-contained roving package from the Koonwarra parkrun launch in South Gippsland, Victoria - 255 people in a town of 385. He interviews Inverloch parkrunners Greg and Shirley Dell, teenage RD Addy, and (on the Monday after, sitting on kindergarten chairs) Event Director Ebony Knox, who explains the Danish concept of hygge she built her launch speech around and describes the rail-trail course.
Channel 5 News Crew — Tony O'Connell
Tony O'Connell is formally inducted into the Channel 5 News Crew after delivering on last week's promise - [01:14:59] "Last week we said if Toc delivers, he's in. He's delivered. So he's in." Mel: "Welcome to the Channel 5 News Crew, Toc", with another sequined microphone sent down south.
The Perlustration (annual listener survey)
The hosts announce the Perlustration giveaway extravaganza has closed; the prize draw and the survey findings are held over to next week's episode. Scott notes some listeners followed the link without knowing what a perlustration was.
Launches and anniversaries ("Where is the cake?")
Weekly calendar rundown: two New South Wales launches this weekend (Broken Hill and Cowra), plus anniversaries at Diamond Creek (VIC), Geographe Bay (WA), Launceston (TAS - marking five years of parkrun in Tasmania) and Nepean River (NSW).
