• Episode 136 - Kelly Hodges

  Scott reveals he has glanced at the early perlustration (annual listener survey) results but won't share yet; the survey stays open a couple more weeks, and they confirm they act on it — "if you tell us something sucks, it's gone. If you tell us you want something back, it's coming back." A brand-new TomTom Runner 3 watch is the prize, open to overseas listeners too. Revisited at [01:11:05] and [01:11:44].

• Episode 134 - Tim Oberg

  The annual listener survey is finished and about to go live on the Facebook page, running for one month from release, with a TomTom watch given away as a prize (as in the previous year). Tim Oberg's suggested question — a poll on whether Scott really is "the dry, serious one" — was added at the last minute during his interview.

• Episode 131 - Abdul-Raouf Mohamed-Isa

  Preview only — the annual listener survey goes out in October. Hosts note they have genuinely changed the podcast, and booked guests, off the back of past perlustration feedback. A TomTom watch is again the prize, as last year; full details and the link promised for next week's episode.

  Full rundown of the 2017 listener survey (double last year's response): Q1 where listeners parkrun (Vic 1st, Qld 2nd, NSW 4th behind SA); Q2 how they listen (mostly iTunes, zero on Stitcher); Q3 events visited (21-50 most common, 25% have done an international event); Q4 preferred guest type (regular parkrunners doing irregular things, ahead of EDs/RDs); Q6/Q7 merchandise (61% want to see it, 66% would buy); Q8 who reaches 50 Aussie parkruns first (46% say a tie, 32% Scotty, 21% Mel); Q9 Game of Thrones vs NFL; Q10 favourite frog (Kermit 41%, Jeremiah 26%, golden mantella under 1%); Q11 should they return in 2018 (yes - they commit to reaching 100 episodes).   The hosts announce the Perlustration giveaway extravaganza has closed; the prize draw and the survey findings are held over to next week's episode. Scott notes some listeners followed the link without knowing what a perlustration was.

• Episode 88

  Melissa reminds listeners they have one more week to submit their Perlustration responses and enter the associated TomTom giveaway. Referenced earlier too, at [00:05:43], where the hosts joke about whether "who's the favourite adventurer" should have been a survey question.

• Episode 87

  Final week of the annual listener survey. The hosts invent a giveaway on air to boost responses: TomTom (a parkrun partner) have supplied one of their "Adventurer" watches in parkrun orange, and listeners can enter by emailing any one of their own perlustration answers to parkrunadventurers@gmail.com within a week. Results to be broken down on the podcast in two weeks' time.

• Episode 86

  Scott pushes the parkrun Adventurers 2017 Perlustration (rendered by ASR as "Pearl Astration"/"Pearl Illustration"). He stresses it is completely anonymous, reports more responses already than in the whole of last year, and says it stays open two more weeks with an incentive to be announced next week. He teases results from the "if you could interview anyone" question — including a listener suggestion of Sophie Monk, and several suggestions of people who are no longer alive.

• Episode 85

  Launch of the 2017 parkrun Adventurers Annual Perlustration. Hosts tease a mix of repeat and new questions, promise incentives across the month it stays open, plan to report the analysis in November, and float "Do you want to see the parkrun adventurers back for 2018?" as one of the questions — tied to Scott's admission that the show will finish 2017 in the 90s rather than reaching episode 100.

• Episode 84

  Announced at the close: "We'll move on to the next thing, which is our Perlustration. Mel, it's back." The hosts agree to write the questions and come back next week to release the Perlustration for 2017. A tease/announcement rather than a full segment this week.

  The hosts walk through the results of the listener survey run a few weeks earlier: Victoria then Queensland the top listener states (more international listeners than Northern Territory), out-and-back the narrowly favoured course type over single loops, 53% of listeners have volunteered, iTunes the dominant listening platform (with exactly one Stitcher listener), 60 minutes the preferred episode length, guest and ED interviews the best-rated segments, 90% do fancy dress at least sometimes, and 59% find The Princess Bride funny — settling a running Mel-vs-Scott argument.

  Scott previews results of the listeners' survey question "how long between PBs?", reporting that respondents are struggling to get PBs — which the hosts read either as a long-tenured audience or, per Scott's joke, as listeners "not trying hard enough".

  Launch of the show's listener feedback survey on Facebook, described as "our now annual Perlustration" — ten quick questions. Running joke through the rest of the episode about the obscurity of the word, with Mel accusing Scott of looking up synonyms for "survey".
