Scotty and Mel back from the listener meet-up weekend, which began as listener Gary Murphy's idea and which Brendan Scollary declared the inaugural annual parkrun adventurers Listener Meetup in the Shellharbour pre-run brief, so 2019 is already on. They then throw to the live recording made outdoors at Shellharbour parkrun on the Saturday morning, in front of the listeners, with the day's hosts as the first guests.

The show's recurring parkrun-trivia quiz, played live in front of the meet-up audience with three contestants: defending champion Simon Mackley (Mosman parkrun, NSW), Brendan Peel (Victoria) and Sonja Pohlman (Queensland). Twenty questions plus bonus rounds, an audience-voted final point, and a live scoreboard kept by Mel. Brendan Peel wins by a point (final: Brendan 8, Simon 6-7, Sonia 5-6); Scott calls it "March Madness, parkrun adventurers Madness".

Mel throws to "PK, our good mate from the Channel 5 News crew", who could not attend the listener meet-up because of an adventure at home. His Mount Barker parkrun fourth-birthday report follows. The crew's membership is also quizzed in Madness, with PK, TOC, Lyndell, Greta and Gary Murphy named as members.

Scott and Mel open the floor to the meet-up audience: how long the podcast takes to produce, whether Scott had an interest in podcasting before (15 years in radio), and which guests have been most inspiring (Mel picks Pat Farmer; Scott picks the UK parkrunner in a manual wheelchair who came out during the interview). Audience member Caroline explains why parkrun's inclusivity moves her to tears, and Scott mentions his official parkrun role encouraging more events to do an Acknowledgement of Country.

At the live listener meet-up an audience member thanked Scott and Mel for the weekend and asked where and when it would be next year. Mel said they had only found out that morning in the pre-run briefing that it was to be an annual thing, and thanked the listeners, saying she and Scott would be happy to have a phone conversation about parkrun every week but that it is the people listening that make them record it and put it out. Both credited Gary Murphy as the doer who had the idea and made it happen, and Scott closed by thanking him and the audience and saying they would do it again.
