August Madness
The show's recurring parkrun-trivia quiz, played live in front of the meet-up audience with three contestants: defending champion Simon Mackley (Mosman parkrun, NSW), Brendan Peel (Victoria) and Sonja Pohlman (Queensland). Twenty questions plus bonus rounds, an audience-voted final point, and a live scoreboard kept by Mel. Brendan Peel wins by a point (final: Brendan 8, Simon 6-7, Sonia 5-6); Scott calls it "March Madness, parkrun Adventurers Madness" at [00:29:31].
Channel 5 News Crew
Mel throws to "PK, our good mate from the Channel 5 News crew", who could not attend the listener meet-up because of an adventure at home. His Mount Barker parkrun fourth-birthday report follows. The crew's membership is also quizzed in Madness at [00:27:00], with PK, TOC, Lyndell, Greta and Gary Murphy named as members.
Dad joke
Embedded in PK's Mount Barker roving report: he announces at [00:31:48] "I'm going to get a few people to tell us some awesome jokes. Hopefully dad jokes." Three follow — the old man who fell down the well ([00:34:21]), standing in the corner because it's 90 degrees ([00:35:39]) and jumping in a poodle ([00:35:49]).
Launches and anniversaries ("Where is the cake?")
Next week's launches — Kelvin Grove and Mount Isa in Queensland — prompting Mel's Mount Isa story about being hospitalised by a redback spider bite aged two. Anniversaries at Manjimup and Riverway. Scott notes it is a quiet week because of Easter.

Scott and Mel open the floor to the meet-up audience: how long the podcast takes to produce, whether Scott had an interest in podcasting before (15 years in radio), and which guests have been most inspiring (Mel picks Pat Farmer; Scott picks the UK parkrunner in a manual wheelchair who came out during the interview). Audience member Caroline explains why parkrun's inclusivity moves her to tears, and Scott mentions his official parkrun role encouraging more events to do an Acknowledgement of Country.
