Greta travels interstate to Main Beach parkrun on the Gold Coast for its 7th anniversary — the birthplace of parkrun in Australia — and files a long on-location report. She interviews Nikki (a Comm Games visitor from Wollongong), Rhonda (volunteer), the Carl/Meredith/Ethan family who were one of the first families at Main Beach, Julie the Run Director, Tim Oberg (who announces the launch of Junior parkrun Australia), and Paul the Event Director.
Channel 5 News Crew
Melissa Ellis files "yet another audition for the Channel 5 News crew" from Albert Melbourne parkrun, themed around adventurers and unofficial parkrun clubs. She interviews Cathy Ray (the Rayfarer Club), Margie Olsen (Ollie Volley), and Brendan Peel on his 250th parkrun, then asks directly to be made a roving reporter. Back in studio the hosts debate it, dock her for "a couple of factual errors", and set her one final level-up challenge: interview a Mel and a Scotty at the same parkrun on the same weekend. Verdict at [01:11:14]: "Mel Ellis, you're not in just yet, but getting close."

Melissa Ellis's Albert Melbourne report doubles as a roving crossover — she covers Brendan Peel's 250th parkrun milestone and the interstate visitors who came for it, and signs off wishing Main Beach and parkrun Australia a happy 7th anniversary.
Launches and anniversaries ("Where is the cake?")
No launches in Australia this Saturday — Mel notes it is the first blank weekend of the year. To fill the gap the hosts announce parkrun is launching an entire new country: Malaysia, with Taman Pudu Ulu parkrun. Anniversaries: Fingal Bay (NSW), [George Town] (Tas) and Warragul (Vic). Scott then tasks Mel with flying to Malaysia this weekend to get the event name pronounced correctly at the source.
