Scott Trickett, still in holiday mode in Bright, and Melissa Erbacher. Scott run-directed Bright parkrun with Team Trickett on the scanners and locals on the stopwatch and finish tokens, got through with no 59:59s, and rediscovered the joy of volunteering as a way to meet people in a town where he knows no one; he asks Mel to keep him in check on volunteering this year. Mel joined the Pirate Club at Coffs Harbour parkrun on the seventh anniversary of parkrun in Australia, six family members in costume on a double out-and-back along the beach, with a stop at the Big Banana for Wes.

Greta travels interstate to Main Beach parkrun on the Gold Coast for its 7th anniversary, the birthplace of parkrun in Australia, and files a long on-location report. She interviews Nikki (a Comm Games visitor from Wollongong), Rhonda (volunteer), the Carl/Meredith/Ethan family who were one of the first families at Main Beach, Julie the Run Director, Tim Oberg (who announces the launch of Junior parkrun Australia), and Paul the Event Director.
Roving reports & the Channel 5 News crew starts at 59:29
Melissa Ellis files "yet another audition for the Channel 5 News crew" from Albert Melbourne parkrun, themed around adventurers and unofficial parkrun clubs. She interviews Cathy Ray (the Rayfarer Club), Margie Olsen (Ollie Volley), and Brendan Peel on his 250th parkrun, then asks directly to be made a roving reporter. Back in studio the hosts debate it, dock her for "a couple of factual errors", and set her one final level-up challenge: interview a Mel and a Scotty at the same parkrun on the same weekend. Verdict: "Mel Ellis, you're not in just yet, but getting close."
Launches and anniversaries starts at 1:11:04"Where is the cake?"
No launches in Australia this Saturday, Mel notes it is the first blank weekend of the year. To fill the gap the hosts announce parkrun is launching an entire new country: Malaysia, with Taman Pudu Ulu parkrun. Anniversaries: Fingal Bay (NSW), [George Town] (Tas) and Warragul (Vic). Scott then tasks Mel with flying to Malaysia this weekend to get the event name pronounced correctly at the source.

Scott said that was it for episode 107 and welcomed Caroline, a listener who had spent weeks binge-listening every episode back to back and had joined them at Shellharbour, to the joy of waiting a whole week between episodes. He thanked Mel and said he would speak to her next week, hopefully from Malaysia, after setting her the task of flying to the new Taman Pudu Ulu event to hear the pronunciation from the source; Mel joked that if she did not make it to episode 108 he could find another co-host.
