Launching Burswood Peninsula parkrun around the new Perth (Optus) Stadium — the jurisdictional runaround between council, Venues Live and the Burswood Park Board, and the letter of support from the state treasurer that unlocked it; becoming the closest two parkruns in the world to Claisebrook Cove across the river; how he came to parkrun via friends launching Canning River; the Batman shirt, the "Batoo" tattoo and the hand-painted bat signal hung off the Narrows Bridge at the 2015 Perth Marathon; starting the Middle-Aged Mixtape music podcast with retiring Mount Clarence (Albany) ED Bill Irving; and his philosophy on developing run directors so an ED role isn't for life.

Three roving reports in a row, all from rainy Saturday events: Greta at the Meningie parkrun launch in South Australia (interviewing local photographer Marianne Caneen, Coorong Council Deputy Mayor Sharon, participants Jenny and Kirsty, and ED Matt); TOC at the Willow parkrun launch in Wodonga (interviewing co-ED Maria — 186 finishers in the rain); and Melissa Ellis at Westerfolds junior parkrun in Melbourne (interviewing volunteer Justine and her daughters Olivia and Hannah). Scott and Mel wrap the block at [00:55:45]-[00:56:16], with Scott calling the Westerfolds report "my favourite roving report in the history of roving reports", and remind listeners that you don't have to be in the Channel 5 News Crew to submit a report.
