Foreign Correspondent Dave reports in from Nobles parkrun on the Isle of Man, while closer to home Lyndell is back with a wrap up from Ipswich Qld parkrun. Plus the parkrun adventurers hotline receives another call!

Foreign-correspondent roving report from David Moss at Nobles parkrun on the Isle of Man, running its alternate Conrhenny Community Woodlands course because the Manx Grand Prix has taken over the usual Nobles Park route. Includes background on the island (independence, the triskelion flag, Manx cats) and an interview with the event's founding Event/Run Director about setting the event up (launched 17 October 2017) and the island's week-long running festival.
Channel 5 News Crew
Lyndell Murray reports from Ipswich parkrun in Queensland, chasing an "I" for her alphabet and kicking off Streaky September in an IMF supporters singlet. Interviews Mark (50th parkrun, red tutu and cape, back running after a heart attack and the Paris Marathon), Tom (today's Run Director, plus the new course-PB bell), Kay (Event Director and event ambassador) and Gary (200+ volunteers, never run a parkrun).
Launches and anniversaries ("Where is the cake?")
No launches this week; anniversaries at Bega (NSW), Inverloch (Vic), North Wollongong (NSW) and Wynnum (Qld). Hosts wish them cake and costumes.
Streaky September
Streak status update on day four (recorded Tuesday 4 September). Mel is four days clean of chocolate, Skittles and wine as her "level up"; Scott's solidarity attempt at giving up coffee lasted exactly one day, defeated by a Father's Day breakfast. Both are streaking as a family; Wes and the dogs are on the streak too.
Streaky BINGOE
Reveal of this year's streaky bingo card — "bingo with an E" returns as tradition, revised from last year. Two carried-over givens (do a parkrun; streak with a friend) plus six new challenges: streaky Strava Art, record a hotline question while streaking, streak with a dog (or a person named Max, Charlie, Jack, Bella or Jessie — Buster, Champy, Clover or Eno also accepted), the "last minute streak" after 11pm, Groundhog Day (same time, place and distance two days running) and backwards-cap streaking. Cards to be uploaded to the new parkrun adventurers Facebook group.
parkrun Adventurers Hotline
Listener-recorded voice question played on air. Jackie of Gungahlin parkrun asks how Scott and Mel met and came to podcast together from different states; they answer — first met in person at the Ron Clarke memorial service, but got to know each other in the private Facebook group of parkrun Australia's original intake of Territory Directors (since morphed into the event ambassador programme). Scott notes at [00:39:28] the segment was "introduced a couple of weeks ago and it's an absolute fizzer", and recording a hotline question is now one of the streaky bingo challenges.
Sing-along
End-of-show sing-along bit, described by Scott as "a new tradition" that "returned last week". This week they talk themselves out of it — the intended song was Tiffany's "I Think We're Alone Now" (Scott's karaoke song) — agreeing last week's version was terrible and blaming "the corporate greed of big music"; the episode instead peters out with the theme music.
