Completing every WA event and volunteering at all of them; how he found parkrun via a Facebook photo tag at Claisebrook Cove; riding a 250cc scooter four hours to Albany on a near-empty tank to tail walk at Mount Clarence; a 12-hour round trip to Singapore for East Coast parkrun while on a Malaysia trip; favourite and least-favourite volunteer roles; two occasions he ran in budgie smugglers, swim cap and goggles at themed events (Pioneer and Woodbridge); his top three WA courses (Margaret River, Manjimup, Mount Clarence); and his next goal, the "Ollie Volley" — volunteering in every Australian state and territory.

Roving Adventurers (roving reporter crossovers)
Greta files a self-contained roving report from the Stebonheath parkrun launch in Adelaide (SA), which had a pirate theme. She interviews four people in sequence: Simone (a parkrun tourist from Carisbrook), Alan (first-time volunteer photographer, doing his very first parkrun), Helen Turnbull (tail walker, Gawler regular and the person who got Alan involved), and Cheryl, the Event Director. The block ends at the John McVeity Centre over post-parkrun coffee.
Channel 5 News Crew
Roles reversed: event ambassador Steve Marston interviews the podcast's own Channel 5 roving reporter Lyndell Murray at Bunyaville (their shared home parkrun) on the occasion of her 100th parkrun. Covers how she found parkrun at New Farm, how she became a roving reporter, and her self-set challenge to reach 50 different events before hitting 100 runs (100 runs, 20 at Bunyaville, 50 different Australian events, 2 overseas).
Launches and anniversaries ("Where is the cake?")
Mel calls it "a bit of a skinny calendar this week" — one launch and three anniversaries. Launch: Perry Lakes (WA). Anniversaries: Carisbrook (SA, first anniversary), Oki (QLD), and Toowoomba. Prompts a short exchange about whether a first anniversary is the best one.
Hotline
Listener question segment with its own jingle — Scott jokes about adding a trumpet to the Hotline song, and Mel says it was too subtle to hear. The question, from pseudonymous caller "Dorothy Dix", asks whether the hosts have any other sporting prowess. Scott: school captain, swimming captain and volleyball captain in primary school, later a swim-team member and dabbled in triathlon until a Victorian tri-squad coach found him out on the bike. Mel: third in the 25m breaststroke in Grade 4, and a competitive Irish dancer who placed at eisteddfods.
Streaky September
Streak check-in and bingo card wrap-up. Mel confesses she broke her running streak after a rough run of sick-family washing and lost sleep, but is restarting; Scott's streak is intact, including a 2K run started at 11:59pm on Friday after falling asleep watching the footy. Both discuss remaining bingo items (Scott still owes his Strava art; Mel's go-to is a four-kilometre toilet). Two final #levelupchallenges announced for adventurers who have already completed their bingo cards: (1) run two kilometres barefoot, (2) a "run the date" selfie — find or create the number of the day's date on your run and photograph yourself with it.
