The Ned Kelly Chase ultra event at Wangaratta, its handicap-start format where entrants pick a start time so everyone finishes near 12pm, the cyclist "troopers" who chase down runners with paper arrest warrants and hand out wristbands, and how he and Sharon keep the Kelly/trooper balance without glorifying either side. Then his ultra career: 77-odd ultras, three Coast to Kosci finishes, Australian Centurion status (100 miles walked inside 24 hours), completing all six international Centurion events with his wife Sharon, and walking 572km at the EMU six-day race in Hungary to take the Australian six-day walk record. Closes on Wangaratta parkrun, Green Point parkrun in Cape Town, and cycling 50-70km with the local bicycle users group after parkrun.

Scott Trickett, joking he is hosting solo after last week's shots fired, with Melissa Erbacher, who confirms Emmett's name does nod to Doc Emmett Brown of Back to the Future. Mel was at home at Kawana, where she gave an emotional announcement for a parkrunner named Bailey who had died; a bell was rung when the clock passed his 25:24 PB and participants made heart signs for the photographer. Scott's Tricketts missed Darebin and went back to Westerfolds, where Kasia set out to run alone, got a stitch and cold ears, and Scott escorted her back via the juniors course for a 44-minute 8K; Mel notes Scott has drawn level with her on the Australian most-events list and edged ahead on internationals, and she and Adam are planning adventures for the rest of the year, with a points-hacking episode floated for around episode 200.
Roving reports & the Channel 5 News crew starts at 45:42
Two international roving reports run back to back with no studio link between them. TOC reports from Taman Pudu Ulu parkrun in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (29 degrees, ~90% humidity), interviewing marshal Lachie, first-timers-briefer Trixie, and Run Director Colin, who says roughly 20 tourists turned up that week and that about half their tourists are British. Then the second reporter files from Lac de Divonne parkrun in France, interviewing three Central Coast NSW tourists there for Mont Blanc and the Netball World Cup, New York-born Timekeeper Ray Compton, and a group at the Full Moon Cafe in Divonne-les-Bains, one of whom is the parent of the man who founded both Divonne and the Paris parkrun. Scott closes it: "a very international feel from the boys this week".
Launches and anniversaries starts at 1:00:48"Where is the cake?"
One launch: the world's first parkrun in a women's prison, at Wandoo in Western Australia. Anniversaries: Armidale (NSW), Mansfield (Qld), Meadowbrook (Qld), Pilara [unclear] and Renmark (SA). NOTABLE: Scott announces the segment is being retired, "I've threatened this before, but now I'm really going to make it happen. We've got two more weeks of anniversary announcements... There's too many. No one's listening. Nobody cares."
Sign-off starts at 1:04:33
Scott said let's wrap it up and challenged them both to avoid their home events that weekend; Mel would not commit but promised adventures from the Erbacher side of the podcast in the not-too-distant future, though not next week, and Scott said he might go home next week as well. They joked about being fair-weather adventurers who should only podcast during spring and summer, and Mel said she would like to podcast with him next week wherever he went.
