Happy Sunday arvo parkrun adventurers! We hope you've had a fab weekend thus far.
In case you didn't notice, Episode 204 snuck out this morning, with a cheeky couple of guest co-hosts: Melissa Ellis and Olly Spake! Hot off the heels of the NZ relaunch (well, the recording was anyway), they had a chat with avid parkrunner and 500 club member Steve Darby.

Melissa Ellis with Ollie Spake, recorded 5 July with a preface noting that metropolitan Melbourne has since gone back into Stage 3 lockdown. Ollie has kept up his Bass Pointparkrun to event nine (record attendance two, thanks to his mum), marked the Shellharbour parkrun virtual birthday with cupcakes from Chris Fraser, and spent the solstice on his in-laws' Swedish-Finnish midsummer traditions, maypole, frog dance and herring pie included; Mel did the winter solstice longest run with a small group of friends, seven events over the Queen's Birthday long weekend in Melbourne, and has been building Ellis Pellis parkrun at home with a selfie frame, fake results emails, a New Zealand theme complete with a flag Paul fetched, and an open invitation to Victorians, limited to five for brunch. Ollie signs off the pre-segment chat cheering the 2023 World Cup being awarded to Australia and New Zealand.

Mel said it had been fun and thanked Ollie for joining her again, joking about how lucky they were to be let back to co-host and that nobody had looked under the table. They hoped to be invited back to check in with listeners about maypoles and Eiffel Towers, and Mel closed episode 204, handed back to Mel for next week with thanks for the reins, and said they looked forward to hearing more adventures with New Zealand parkrun.
