Welcome starts at 0:25
Melissa Ellis hosting with Ollie Spake. Ollie barcode scanned again at Shellharbour (Killalea) under another new Run Director, welcomed a pair back from Costa Rica, and did local radio interviews that brought Australian Idol winner Damien Leith to parkrun, though he forgot to record an interview; his daughter Hannah is recruited as apprentice. Mel's touring streak ended with event 348 at Westerfolds (handy for her Wilson Index, and her fifth visit toward a P-index of eight), she profiles Westerfolds Park, and the pair plan Operation Vic Spake Adventure.
Roving reports & the Channel 5 News crew starts at 8:54
Ollie hands over to a block of three roving reports - "this week, I think we've heard from a few more roving reporters, Mel... So let's have a listen." The block runs Alison Fraser from Puarenga parkrun (NZ), Lyndell Murray from South Bank parkrun (Brisbane) and Simon Mackley from Cowpasture Reserve (Camden, NSW), followed by the hosts' discussion of all three.
Roving reports & the Channel 5 News crew starts at 15:47
Lyndell Murray files under the Channel 5 News Crew banner from South Bank parkrun, Brisbane, celebrating a P-index of 7 with her friend Erica in James Bond 007 tuxedo shirts and toy spy pistols. She interviews three first-time parkrunners (from Canada, New Zealand and Spain), volunteer wrangler Jodie and Matt, and Run Director Ross. Opens "it's Lyndell here and I'm checking in this morning for the Channel 5 News crew" and closes "this is Lyndell over and out from South Bank parkrun for the Channel 5 News crew".

Followed by the Most Aussie New Zealand Events ladder movers.

Mel and Ollie pick up the Informant's launch list and discuss New South Wales' "super Saturday" - Casula Parklands, Northparks Oval, Pioneer Dairy at Tuggerah and Ted Scobie Oval at Griffith, all originally due to launch mid-2020 before the COVID pause, plus one Queensland launch. Ollie notes Casula Parklands is his nearest new event at 100km; Mel makes Ted Scobie Oval her NENDY at 476km.

Ollie asked Mel for her plans for next week: she said she was going adventuring but would not say where, leaving it as a cliffhanger, while Ollie said he may or may not be at Shellharbour and that Hannah had been talking up some parkrun tourism. They gave out the podcast email address, parkrunadventurers at gmail.com, asking for dress-up theme suggestions and for help working out how to launch a poll on Facebook, and joked about playing to their handful of listeners. Ollie said he was looking forward to next week's chat about the listener meetup and supposed that was it, and Mel said they would catch everyone next week.
