In this episode
Welcome starts at 0:24
Melissa Ellis on Wurundjeri Country and Ollie Spake on Dharawal Country, with Halloween tomorrow and both short on sweets and time (33 minutes on the clock). Ollie run directed a Halloween-themed Shellharbour in his Scream mask and cloak, with Ava volunteering in her new junior-10 outfit, Hannah and his mum along, and has already given notice he will RD on New Year's Day. Mel was in Sydney to support the Cheetah relay team (Paul Rainbow, Dorota, Damon Lynch and Simon Mackley) in the Bondi to Manly Ultra, then ubered to GreenWay parkrun on Dharug Country for its bagpiper, a flat out-and-back beside the Hawthorne Canal, and a frond of Sue Smith, Catherine O'Connor, Lee and Bianca, before leading into her interview with Nathan.
Roving reports & the Channel 5 News crew starts at 23:37
Ollie crosses to Lyndell Murray at Kawana parkrun on the Sunshine Coast for the event's 11th birthday. She has cake, then interviews two original Kawana parkrunners (Graham and Kelly), followed by Event Director Ian and the day's Run Director Rebecca, who reports the birthday statistics: 82,583 finishes by 15,233 people and 11,120 PBs since 2012. She signs off for the Channel 5 News Crew.
Dazza's starts at 37:39
Explicitly skipped for time - 'we won't be ducking into Dazza's this week' - but Ollie still gives it a brief mention, flagging Lyndell's Count von Count socks picture (the Legs 11 theme for Kawana's 11th birthday) and congratulating the Halloween dress-ups.

International Ugly Christmas Singlet Day starts at 43:01

Sign-off starts at 44:16
Mel said she was staying in her home state to catch up on housework and would go to the newly launched Goulburn River Trail parkrun at Seymour for its second week; Ollie said he would be at home next parkrun day, thought he was run directing, and would not be parkrunning the week after. He thanked Mel for having him, saying it was rare for him to do two episodes in a row, Mel thanked him for coming back in October's five-Monday month, and he gave the Facebook and email contacts and closed for another week.
