Welcome starts at 0:26
Simon Mackley on Quandamooka Country and Melissa Ellis on Wurundjeri Country, a couple of weeks on from the Cheetah weekend at Bondi to Manly. Mel corrects last week'sparkrun claim: 124 was the most adventurers logging one, not the Aussie record, which was 159 on 31 January. Simon did his local Redland Bay with a small frond of Roberta Winters and Lyndell Murray; Mel walked Karkarook on Bunurong Country with her Aunty Julie in 48.17, in her budgie-edition Ugly Christmas Singlet, on Chris Ruse's 150th at the event. Then listener feedback from Stephen Walsh in England (stuck on 70 venues), a buy-swap-sell post on the Ugly Christmas Singlet page, and Peter Pohlman and Charlie Pearce prompting a look at long parkrun pauses, from Phoenix Park's 192 weeks and Stones Corner's 109 to Tramore Valley's 338, with Jindabyne relaunching next weekend.
Roving reports & the Channel 5 News crew starts at 14:33
Simon hands over to the week's two roving reports, TOC from the four-week-old Goulburn River Trail parkrun at Seymour, Victoria, and Lyndell Murray from Redland Bay parkrun in Queensland. The hosts debrief both, picking up Lyndell's shout-out to the adults who run with junior parkrunners and the acknowledgement of "Schultzy".
Dazza's starts at 34:24
Dazza's question of the week for the 46th Saturday of 2023: "How many parkruns have you done so far this year?" The hosts read comments from Natalie Soper (Wrocław, Poland), Richard (Owairaka, Auckland), Helen Patricia (Cambridge NZ), Heather Hunter (the Dhunggaarr Reserve launch), Jackie Hancock (dressed as a butterfly for Pegasus's 350th) and Stephen Cox (Two Rivers Wines), more than 200 comments in all.
the Obi Award — Stephen Cox starts at 38:30
The week's Obi goes to Stephen Cox for his photo in the selfie frame with the vines as a backdrop at Two Rivers Wines parkrun, "a brilliant shot there... in front of that fabulous parkrun". The hosts also break the fourth wall here to explain that this episode was recorded across two nights because of Riverside recording problems.
Club Corner starts at 40:18
Rachel's contributor slot, opening with a mock history of the Collingwood Football Club before turning to her real topic, junior parkrun, reciting parkrun Global's own description of the 2K junior events, the marshalling and age rules, and the reminder that all non-milestone clubs are unofficial and unsupported by parkrun.
Emails starts at 43:16
Two emails: Tanya Bailey sends a photo of Jackie Hancock's airline-safety-style run briefing for Pegasus parkrun's 350th (wings theme), and Eman Vergara writes in from Kirkdale Reserve parkrun in Melbourne, where he met up with local adventurers and Melton City runners, looking ahead to hosting PALM next year.

Sign-off starts at 49:38
Simon said that might be it for the week and asked Mel, who said a last-minute change of plans had her flying to WA for Newcastle Park parkrun - her '2J' - subject to the flights going ahead and her recovering from the red-eye, catching up with Sarah from the West Side and Matt; Simon said he was heading to Rocks Riverside for the third time to meet the Event Directors and Run Directors of the Brisbane events he looks after as an ambassador. They then compared the event numbers of Redland Bay and Karkarook, about a year apart in launch date, before Mel thanked Simon for joining her, noted he joins on the third Monday of every month and that it had been an interrupted recording, and Simon gave the Facebook and email contacts and closed.
