Listener follow-ups on last week: Andrew Blanda explaining YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary), Calum Burrell and Helen Rudder on Bill Barker's adventurers-league idea, and Janet Reid's #WeNeedBucketHats campaign with Tracey Wood; then TOC's eight-hour drive with Jackie and son Dano to Jindabyne (event 134, his mainland NENDY and the last letter of his volunteer alphabet), where pop-up sprinklers soaked the finish chute, with a frond of Helen and Stephen Davis, Bec Bailey, Darren and Lucille Pead, Carolyn McRae, Jan Manns and marshal Galia Young.

Mel said she was off on an adventure to North Wollongong to catch up with some Sydney friends, maybe even Bec Bailey, and TOC checked whether that was the course they had used as a Friday Freedo in the Shellharbour palm year; TOC said he had no idea where he would be, somewhere local in Gippsland after an eight-hour-each-way road trip, either working on a p-index or back at the sunny stump for a swim afterwards. He then reminded everyone to get their skin checked, mentioning a fairly large lump cut off his leg late last year and that the Australian of the Year is a parkrunner, and Mel thanked him for joining her, gave the Facebook and email contacts and closed for another week.
