Ballarat parkrun (Victoria Park course, Lake Wendouree, the gold-rush anniversary theme and Steve Moneghetti's local runners); how she found parkrun via Running Mums Australia; five weeks in Belfast running Colin Glen parkrun; and her newsletter article on expat/international parkrunners using parkrun to settle into a new country.
Tim Oberg
His 10-week 'get fast for Christmas' 5K training block ending at the 23 December parkrun, how it joined up with Love Mercy's million-kilometre challenge, keeping the program relevant to average parkrunners, and his selection as a Commonwealth Games Queen's Baton bearer (nominated by Varsity Lakes ED Renee Russell).

Welcome starts at 0:08
Melissa Erbacher and Scott Trickett open with Agent 86 and Inspector Gadget before Scott reports on his trip to Bowral, where he spent Friday with Norma Wallet, an runner who reached 100 parkruns on Saturday as the oldest female to the milestone, drawing 90-odd to an event that usually gets 50 to 60, and had dinner with the Bowral crew at the local pub. Mel went to Petrie's cops and robbers run with her brother, sister-in-law, niece and nephew, Adam pushing Wes in the pram for the first time; she walk-ran with niece Lani, met a koala beside the path, was squirted by super-soaker police volunteers and only just made it after sleeping through her alarm. A training program with special guests heading towards Christmas is flagged for later in the show.
Launches and anniversaries starts at 42:31"Where is the cake?"
No launches this week, but a heavy anniversary weekend: Brightwater in Queensland (3rd anniversary, which Mel is attending for cake), Grafton NSW, Gungahlin ACT, Kingscliff NSW, Mosman NSW, Murray Bridge SA and Orange NSW. Mel: "That's a pretty uber weekend for anniversaries. Cake and doughnuts, fancy dress happening all over the place."
The Perlustration starts at 43:30annual listener survey
Scott pushes the parkrun adventurers 2017 Perlustration. He stresses it is completely anonymous, reports more responses already than in the whole of last year, and says it stays open two more weeks with an incentive to be announced next week. He teases results from the "if you could interview anyone" question, including a listener suggestion of Sophie Monk, and several suggestions of people who are no longer alive.
Sign-off starts at 47:25
Both hosts agreed they were done, and Mel said her attempt to equal Scotty on the most events list had been foiled by his exploits in New South Wales, that she would be at home or at events she had already done for the next couple of weeks, and asked whether he had adventures planned. Scotty said his flights were booked for another interstate trip that weekend but would not say where, and told a story about a propeller-plane hop from Canberra to Sydney during the week; he closed with 'thanks, Mel. On that note, I'll speak to you next week'.
