Melissa Ellis hosting with Ollie Spake, recovering from the Run Shellharbour marathon. Ollie was Volunteer Coordinator then ran a social parkrun at Shellharbour, where Killalea reserve was hosting a big environmental protest, and on Sunday ran the two-lap coastal marathon past his parents-in-law's house, finishing strongly alongside fellow Shellharbour parkrunner Chris while one of their RDs attempted a Guinness record in a star costume; he also met Sam, who volunteered on the scanning crew. Mel and Paul travelled to event two of Ovens River Trail in Victoria's alpine region with a group of tourists, detouring to the Devenish military-themed silo art and her first country-pub bar drink.

Ollie hands over, "we've been lucky enough, fortunate enough to have another group of roving reports, including some more guest reports. So let's have a listen, shall we?" Four reports run back to back: Melissa Ellis from the brand-new Ovens River Trail parkrun at Myrtleford, country Victoria (week two, interviewing Event Directors Ruth and David); Brendan from North Shore parkrun in Townsville, talking to local Lisa; Tracy Wood from Chermside with "Tracy's top 10 of tail walking"; and Ingrid Botha from the Dolls Point relaunch after the COVID pause, with Sincerity, Pat and Jasmine. Afterwards the hosts note three further Ingrid reports whose audio was unusable (Wayne, Carys and Darren) and Melissa summarises them verbally.

A congratulations bit teased in the show notes ("find out which well known adventurer has recently called BINGOE!"). The hosts spell it out letter by letter, "B-I-N-G-O-E", before revealing "That's right, Mr Scott Trickett", who achieved a stopwatch bingo on the parkrun day just gone, reportedly in 324 parkruns, "proving that it can happen without forward planning". Scott Trickett does not speak in this episode; he is only the subject of the item.

Ollie gave the contact details and asked Mel her plans for the coming parkrun day: it was Mother's Day weekend, so she was heading east to be near her kids, taking her grand doggy Dustin to parkrun and revisiting Cascades on Clyde, with a hello to Michelle Mullins. Ollie had double birthdays on Saturday the 8th of May - Zali's and his mother Galen's - so he would squeeze in a parkrun with his mum for her birthday before heading to a winery, and Mel put out a call to everyone near and far to come down to Shellharbour to celebrate Galen's 70th. Mel wished him a lovely time and happy Mother's Day to Galen and Kathy, and Ollie said that was it for another week and they would see everyone next week for more adventures.
