Mel: "From number one fan to Channel 5 News crew, you're in, honey ... we'll add you to the secret Facebook group later." Later in the outro Lyndell also signs off "for the Channel 5 News crew", and PK is congratulated as a crew member on reaching his 100 Club milestone.

  TOC (Tony O'Connell) files a Channel 5 News Crew report from Highlands parkrun's fifth birthday, run on a Hawaii theme — leis, grass skirts, Hawaiian shirts. He walks the three-lap lakeside course with Rowan, the parkrun ambassador for the area, then interviews finish-line volunteers Sue and John, who each clocked over 100 volunteer credits in the past year. Includes a running gag about course landmarks named after visitors: the "Trickett Bridge" at Shellharbour and a "TOC turn" now up on the wall at Highlands. Scott closes the crossover at [00:42:48].

  Melissa Ellis files "yet another audition for the Channel 5 News crew" from Albert Melbourne parkrun, themed around adventurers and unofficial parkrun clubs. She interviews Cathy Ray (the Rayfarer Club), Margie Olsen (Ollie Volley), and Brendan Peel on his 250th parkrun, then asks directly to be made a roving reporter. Back in studio the hosts debate it, dock her for "a couple of factual errors", and set her one final level-up challenge: interview a Mel and a Scotty at the same parkrun on the same weekend.   TOC reports from the launch of Gardiners Creek parkrun in Victoria — 466 finishers, said to beat the Victorian launch record by about 80. He interviews Event Director Wendy Glenn about the turnout, the granitic-sand trail course, and five generations of her family at Gardiners Creek; he also confesses to joining the stack club himself.

  The crew's biggest showing to date: they sing a bespoke parkrun Christmas carol as the episode's intro music, then supply Christmas cracker jokes and sign-offs through the episode (PK from South Australia at 00:28:39, Lyndell at 01:04:09, TOC at 01:33:42, Greta at 01:33:57), plus two full roving reports. She opens "Hi ho, it's Lyndell the Adventurer here reporting in for the Channel 5 News crew", having kitted herself out in a safari suit (channelling PK) and a Kermit-the-Frog-style reporter hat, then interviews first-timer Lynne, the Bunyaville contingent, Tim and Neil, Arne from the Embracing 2018 Legacy Program, and Event Director Connie.

  Paul Kitching ("PK underscore PK") reports on location from Bushy Park in the UK on International parkrun Day / parkrun's 12th birthday.
