  From [00:59:59]. 20 June: three launches in three countries — Kroonstad Country Club parkrun (South Africa, 279 finishers), Mill Creek Nature parkrun (Moncton, Canada, 50 finishers) and Dainai parkrun in Lithuania (translates as 'parkrun Songs', a perfect circle run four times, the country's fifth event). 27 June: four launches across three countries — Broughty Ferry Esplanade (Scotland, 322), Nimmerdor parkrun (Amersfoort, Netherlands, 136), Oakey Park parkrun (Stanley, UK, 306) and Rabenauer Grund parkrun (Germany, 70). Also covers the coming special day, Canada Day on 1 July, and notes Perringa parkrun's 10th birthday via a Dazza's comment.

  Ten launches over the fortnight, five in five countries each week. 23 May: Karamu Stream (NZ), Long Point (Port Kennedy, WA), Lingda (Denmark), Pomeroy Forest (Northern Ireland), Unoki (Japan). 30 May: Blair Lodge (Scotland, a closed prison event), Kapusa See (Germany, near Potsdam), Naegawa Koen (Japan), Oamaru Public Gardens (NZ, 55% first-timers), and Park Zamkowy ("Castle Park") in Żywiec, Poland — which Simon hands to Sarah as a pronunciation stitch-up.

  9 May: three launches in two countries — Abbotswood (UK, 347 participants), Drumlanrig Castle (Scotland, 275 with 54 first-timers), Greenheart Robina Parklands (Gold Coast, 412). 16 May: five launches in four countries — Bulognasjön in Gävle, Sweden (84 participants, 52 first-timers), Claudy Country in Northern Ireland (68), parkrun Las Zwierzyniecki in Poland (97), Sunrise Beach in Onslow WA (8 participants, 9 volunteers), and Ulladulla in NSW (166).   Seven launches on 28 March - Azid Lal Adventure (Sandton, South Africa, 706 athletes), Bongil Bongil (west of Sawtell, NSW), Breen Avenue Walking Track (Kyabram, Victoria), Orient Beach (East London, South Africa, 901 athletes and 226 first-timers), a Polish launch southeast of Wroclaw, Tele-U (Waiblingen, Germany) and Fountain Beach (north-northwest of Cape Town) - then two on 4 April: Ahrens Park (Grinnell, Iowa, where the results uploaded as all-unknown) and Rothamsted Park (Harpenden, UK). TOC adds that it covers Australia, New Zealand, Japan and nearby time zones — nothing happening "in parkrunville other than palms". A nil return this week.

  Launch round-up: Valentine's Day had one solo launch, Gibraltar Botanical Gardens parkrun (32 participants, 16 volunteers, 8 first-timers). On 21 February two Australian launches — Park Lakes Wetlands parkrun on the northern Sunshine Coast, Queensland (111 athletes, 9 volunteers, 12 first-timers, taking Queensland to 138 events) and Rokeby-Crossover Rail Trail parkrun in Victoria (260 participants, 18 volunteers, 13 first-timers), the third Victorian launch in four weekends.

  Six launches across the fortnight. 31 January: York Community Woodland parkrun (UK, 36 volunteers, 347 finishers); Victory Road Reserve (Victoria, figure-of-eight on a former waste transfer station, 260 finishers, 26 volunteers); Constellations of the South parkrun (Eurella, NSW, 214 finishes including 36 first-time-ever parkrunners, 95% trail, 60m elevation — Lyndell says the course map "looks a little bit like Mr. Squiggle has had a bit of a sneeze"); and Holbeck for Lead parkrun in Denmark (101 finishers, 33 first-timers, 12 volunteers). 7 February: Cruickshank Park parkrun in Yarraville, Melbourne (307 parkrunners, 18 volunteers) and Storwy Mieszki in Poland (131 finishers, 22 volunteers).

• Episode 442 - A Lil Bit of Hope

  Three launches worldwide: Sunnyvale Bay Trail parkrun (California, 183 at launch, 167 week two) and Lost Gardens of Heligan (St Austell, Cornwall, 222 then 235) on 17 January, and Holywell King George V Playing Fields parkrun (Watford, UK, 206 participants, 26 volunteers, one first-timer) on 24 January. Hosts note none in Australia and speculate about a rumoured Victorian launch.

  The weekly launch and anniversary rundown. No Victorian launches this week; launches at Mount Helena in Western Australia (which Scott insists on calling "Mount Buster" after his pet) and Port Augusta in South Australia. Anniversaries at Burley Griffin in the ACT, Gladstone in Queensland, and Hastings Foreshore and Jells in Victoria — the latter prompting a run about adventurers tourist-collecting Jells purely to get their letter J.

  A record-breaking week: seven launches on one day across seven states/territories - Aplins Weir (QLD), Bellerive (TAS), Goolwa (SA), Kununurra (WA), Mount Ainslie (ACT), Ocean Grove (VIC) and Picton (NSW) - which the hosts believe has never been done in one country before, backed by Medibank and to be covered by a rolling "progressive launch" of Facebook Lives.   No launches in Australia this Saturday — Mel notes it is the first blank weekend of the year. To fill the gap the hosts announce parkrun is launching an entire new country: Malaysia, with Taman Pudu Ulu parkrun. Anniversaries: Fingal Bay (NSW), [George Town] (Tas) and Warragul (Vic). Scott then tasks Mel with flying to Malaysia this weekend to get the event name pronounced correctly at the source.

  Scott asks "what's happening in parkrun World this weekend?" One launch: South Toowoomba, Queensland. Anniversaries at Kedron and Main Beach — the latter is the seventh anniversary of Main Beach and therefore of parkrun in Australia, with a big party, junior parkrun announcements and "something else that's a bit exciting" promised by "the boss". Also anniversaries at Lismore (NSW) and Traralgon (Victoria).

Two first anniversaries: "Kalia" parkrun in WA (event name uncertain as spoken - see notes) and White Rock parkrun in Queensland, which Mel notes is a trail event on her list. Mel adds that Queensland has "a whole bunch more launches lined up for March".
